Competitions

There are two new competitions:

1. Photo Competition

This competition is for all students on all Reach Cambridge programmes.

Each student may enter up to 5 photos into the competition. The only criterion for the photos is that they must relate to their summer course with Reach Cambridge.

The photos must be submitted to Reach Cambridge by 20th August by mail or by email to photocompetition@reachcambridge.com.

The photos will be judged by a Reach Cambridge senior staff member and Oliver Stewart, a Cambridge University graduate and amateur photographer.

The prize is two prints from Sean McHugh's 'Cambridge in Colour' collection, which can be seen at www.cambridgeincolour.com. One will be given to the student. The other will be presented to the student's School/College.

2. Essay Competition

This competition is for students wishing to attend either 'The British Experience' or 'The Canadian Credit' programmes. As such it is for students aged 14-19.

Each student may enter one essay of between 300 and 1,000 words on the following topic: 'International Social Responsibility: Can one person change the world?'

The essay must be submitted to Reach Cambridge by 20th December by mail or email to essaycompetition@reachcambridge.com.

The essays will be judged by the Reach Cambridge senior staff team.

The prize is a bursary of C$2,300 or US$2,000 towards either 'The British Experience' or 'The Canadian Credit' courses.
